Me KNOW Bully

Within today’s society, there is an ever increasing amount of social pressure placed on our children

within school and in many instances students often will act in ways outside their comfort zone to simply ‘fit in’.

Peer group pressure, group dynamics hormonal (Life) changes, jealousy, gossip, attention seeking and friendship

groups make it very difficult for so many. Too many students struggle, often in silence and lack mental resilience

and agility aligned to social coping strategies.

Bullying can be hurtful and harmful for all involved. We cannot assume that children know what to do when faced with a bullying situation. At times, they can be unsure of how to react or what to say when faced with a difficult situations that may be bullying. Sometimes parents and can find it difficult to give simple informed and helpful advice.

It doesn't have to be this way. HBTM’s Me KNOW Bully program is an inclusive workshop that will complement the internal personal development pastoral care programs of your students. All programs are specifically tailored to suit the specific needs of the school.

What we do:

HBTM conducts the group based program within the environs of your school and affords pathways for students to identify problems associated with bullying and poor group dynamics. This is done through:

  • Identifying poor social group practices and the dynamics of bullying

  • Encouraging students to take ownership of their role in the social group dynamic

  • Promote positive strategies for group interactions

  • Focussing on being the ‘Best YOU can be’ through social responsibility and accountability
